Gambaran Peran Orang Tua Dalam Tumbuh Kembang Anak Di Tk Dharma Wanita Camplong Sampang

Introduction: Parents are the first and primary educational center for a child.
Parents, as the first educators, provide basic education and significantly
determine a child's future development and growth. Objective: This study aims
to determine the role of parents in the growth and development of children at
TK Dharma Wanita Camplong, Sampang. Methods: This study employed a
descriptive method with a cross-sectional approach. The population consisted
of 38 parents whose children were enrolled at TK Dharma Wanita Camplong,
Sampang. The sampling technique used was total sampling. This study involved
one variable, namely the role of parents in children’s growth and development.
Data were collected using a questionnaire, followed by data processing through
editing, scoring, coding, tabulating, and interpreting. Data analysis was
conducted using descriptive statistics (percentage). Results: The results showed
that most parents had a good role in stimulating the growth and development
of children at TK Dharma Wanita Camplong, Sampang, as indicated by their
involvement in providing guidance, assistance, and consistent support for the
physical, emotional, and social needs of children in order to promote optimal
development.Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded
that most parents have a good role in supporting the growth and development
of children at TK Dharma Wanita Camplong, Sampang. Therefore, parents are
expected to continue enhancing their active involvement in supporting
children’s growth and development at TK Dharma Wanita Camplong,
Sampang, through the provision of directed and continuous stimulation,
fulfillment of children’s physical, emotional, social, and cognitive needs, and
by establishing good cooperation with schools and educators, so as to create a
conducive environment for optimal child development according to their
developmental stages.
